Student Vehicle of the Month: Charlene, model of excellence

Student+Vehicle+of+the+Month%3A+Charlene%2C+model+of+excellence

March’s Student Vehicle of the Month is Quentin Santillan’s beautiful and pristine Charlene. Charlene is a gorgeous, light skinned 2005 Honda Pilot. She has a whopping 137,000 miles and surprisingly not a single accident in her lifespan. Despite being a middle-aged car and the heavy mileage, she still runs like a horse and stops on a dime.
The interior consists of lightly worn tan leather upholstery. Charlene is very spacious and has so much room for activities. It was once said that one could easily fit 24 little people not including the driver. It’s strange, but it is the only way to accurately describe the spaciousness of this car.
Charlene is built like a tank but runs like a Mustang. She gets a cool 17 miles to the gallon in the city and a crazy 22 on the highway. She’s loaded with a 5-speed automatic transmission and a killer 3.5 L V6 engine. As you can tell Charlene is a girl you do not want to mess with because she’s packing 300 feet per pound at 4500 RPM and 255 horsepower.
When Quentin was asked to give a quote about Charlene, he got extremely emotional. It took him a few moments to collect himself before he finally said, “She’s a model of durability and excellency. There’s nothing more I could ask from a car.” This shows the incredible bond that has flourished between a man and his first car. That sort of bond is unmatched by any other.
