What school event are you most looking forward to?

As the end of the school year approaches, students have plenty to look forward to. This week they wrote about what school event they are most excited for in the coming weeks.

Colin Bish

The obvious choices would be prom of graduation, but I’m really looking forward to the senior retreat. I’ve heard nothing but good things about it, and it should be a lot of fun. I mean, we’re at Peek’n Peak for nearly the entire day and just run around and hang out with friends. It might well be the very last time that I’m around the entire Class of 2022, so I’ll definitely be looking forward to it and being together with my brothers one last time.

The school event that I am most looking forward to this year is Mary’s Day. I love dressing up for the day, and I love writing the cards as well. It is an amazing feeling to help make someone smile. I also love going to lunch afterwards and just relaxing. It is a really happy and easy-going day.

Cole Corapi

This year went by like a breeze, and it’s unreal to me that I’m about to graduate. As the year keeps winding down I think graduation is the thing I’m really looking forward to. It’ll be sad, but it will also be a happy time because I’ll be able to walk across that stage and receive my diploma for all the work I’ve put in in my four years here at Prep. But, as of right now, I’m really excited for prom. I’m so excited to finally experience prom and be able to have an amazing time.

The only event I really care about at this point is graduation. It seems like alum and my peers place a lot of importance on the upcoming events because of tradition. I transferred to Villa, so truthfully I have no desire to partake in any other events than those that are mandatory.

Maddie Hess

The event I am looking forward to the most the rest of the school year would be Mary’s Day. I love the love and the sisterhood that happens in this day. The amount of letters I send helps me to really appreciate Villa and cherish the friendships I’ve made here. The cinnamon rolls are also bomb. I’m so happy they are keeping the Villa Mary’s Day tradition alive next year in the merger.

Bryce Kalie

The event that I am most looking forward to is by far graduation. We have so many fun events in between now and graduation, which I will really enjoy. But above all finally being able to graduate will be a true blessing. I can’t wait, and it has to top my list of things to look forward to.

Sam Louie

My favorite event I’m looking forward to is probably senior skip day. I understand we’re not supposed to do it, but I feel as if it’s tradition for every school across the country. Hopefully on that day we’ll take advantage of it and go to the beach or do something fun as a grade. I’m really looking forward to it because it could be the last event that really puts us all together for the last time. It’s also just another day off of school.

Jack Rouch

I am looking forward to prom the most at the end of the school year because it is going to be with all the seniors. I am going to be with all of my friends and a last dance for high school. I can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and having fun with all their classmates.
