The Class of 2024 have reached their final year as Cathedral Prep Ramblers. Over the past four years, the seniors have gained lots of knowledge and life lessons in the halls of both Prep and Villa. With another class of freshmen entering the school, the seniors can see themselves within the underclassmen and can provide a good survival guide for them.
At the senior retreat, some members of the class of 2024 answered the question, “What’s some advice you would give to freshmen?”
Many of the seniors advised freshmen not to not take their high school years for granted.
“Cherish all of your time,” senior Hayley Dever said. “It goes quickly.”
Along with having a good time, they also said to make the most out of your academics.
“Work hard in all of your classes and make sure to have fun,” senior Brady Palmer said. “High school flies, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.”
Other seniors gave advice that could be applied to anyone’s everyday life.
“Live your life to the fullest,” senior Michael Duffy said, “and don’t worry about the small things.”
Others provided a message of hope for the future.
“Never give up and work really hard,” senior Sammie Elwell said. “It will be worth it in the end.”
After four years of hard work and dedication, laughs and tears, the Cathedral Prep Seniors have become the experts of how to navigate all aspects of a successful high school career. The class of 2024 wishes nothing but the best for the underclassmen, especially the class of 2028.
