On Wednesday, Cathedral Prep students participated in Outreach Day. The staff wrote about why they each selected their location.

I went to Blessed Sacrament School for Outreach Day. I chose Blessed Sacrament because I went there my whole life. I attended school and belonged to the parish. It was nice to see my school one last time before it closes. It was definitely a bittersweet moment saying goodbye one last time.

I picked St Jude Church and School. One of the main reasons why I picked it was the location. I live three minutes away from the school, so it makes it a lot easier not having to drive as far. I also liked how there would be 30 volunteers, so the division of work would be pretty nice as well. I also knew it was going to be outdoor work, and it was supposed to be nice that day so getting three hours of sun isn’t bad for anyone. Some of my friends were also picking St Jude as well so that also made it an easier choice.
