The Los Angeles Lakers took home the Larry O’Brien Trophy as NBA champions this past October at the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando, Florida. Last season was unlike any other with the season being cut short midway through March and then resuming July 31. This year, with the season starting a little bit later than usual because of the pushback from last season, teams will play a 72-game regular season as opposed to the regular 82. The season will go from December to June while having games on the teams’ home courts rather than at a neutral site again.
