This week the staff of The Rambler thought about what they want to do before they “kick the bucket.” Read their selections and explanations below.

I would like to go scuba diving at least once in my life. The vast majority of creatures that we see tend to be animals that only walk on land. Additionally, we have a saltwater aquarium at home that acts as a little slice of an underwater habitat right in our house. I think that I would really like to see that sort of thing on a grand scale. Coral reefs are some of the most diverse places on earth, in terms of the number of species living there. Also, actually swimming near animals such as sea turtles or manta rays would be incredibly cool. I haven’t really thought too much about what I would put on a bucket list, but this would probably be first and foremost.

The biggest thing on my bucket list has to be skydiving. Before this year, I would have never considered going skydiving, but Mr. Biebel has forever changed my perspective on it. I’d only want to go skydiving once, and my plan is to go at the end of the year. There’s certainly an aspect of danger that comes with it, but so few people have actually done it. In my opinion, the things that are most worth doing are the things that few people have done.

My bucket list is honestly mostly empty because I really don’t like to plan my future too much because I don’t want to get disappointed; however, I definitely want to study abroad, live in an apartment with big windows in a city, and try and get some of my work published through a publishing house. I’d also really like to go to a fancy gala one day for a job, go to Europe, and get a cat.

The first thing on my personal bucket list is to travel to all 30 MLB stadiums. Whether this is being able to play there or visit there, before I die I think this would be a really cool experience. I love sports and I love baseball even more. It has shaped me as a human today. In my opinion not only does baseball shape physical things, it builds so much character. It has showed me how to become invested in things and showed me how to love something and work towards things. The amount of hard work and dedication this sport takes to be good at is immense. And it’s a tough competition just like anything else in life. It prepares you to be a leader in the real world and I love it.
There are many things I hope to achieve and do in my lifetime. Some of these include attending a concert, going on a trip with my friends, leaving the country, learning a new skill, and completing my yearly reading goal. I also want to travel domestically and visit every state. I also hope to fly on a plane one day.

What’s on my personal bucket list is to travel more. I would love to see other countries and continents, so maybe studying abroad in college would fulfill that desire. I also want to see more of the U.S. and attractions like national parks. After graduation, it would be nice if I could travel with a group of friends so we could share more memories together before we go off to college. Some places I would like to visit include Hoboken, N.J., and Brazil.
If I could do one thing in the world on my bucket list right now, it would probably be to go shark diving in a cage. I have always loved sharks since I was a young age, and it’s been a goal of mine to go diving with them when I became an adult. Going to Florida a few times, I have seen a few of the sharks there and fell head over heels for being around them. It would be a dream come true to finally get to see one up close and personal. If I had to cross one thing off my bucket list in this day, it would be great to finally swim with sharks.

One item on my personal bucket list is to visit Machu Picchu in Peru. When I was a kid we had a painting of Machu Picchu, and I was always enamored with it. As a result, it has always been a goal of mine to get there. Traveling, in general, is something I really enjoy, but if I could choose any place to cross off the list it would be Machu Picchu.

The top thing on my bucket list is to go to a Browns Super Bowl and see them win. That could be multiple things in one because the Browns even making the playoffs is a stretch let alone making it to the Super Bowl. However, if I wasn’t able to go if they could at least win the Super Bowl, I would be a very happy man. The Browns are probably my favorite team among all of the teams I like, and football season is by far my favorite time of the year. To see those two things would complete my bucket list.

My personal bucket list isn’t all that impressive. I’m not even sure that I have that much on it compared to other people. The main short term goal I have on my bucket list is to pass AP Calc. That is very much a struggle for me right now. That is really the only thing I would consider a major short term goal. Another thing on my bucket list is to go to a NHL game, which I think I can accomplish pretty soon. I feel that the hockey game is definitely the more entertaining of the two items on my bucket list though.
