With 133.5 million viewers, Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show during Super Bowl LIX became the most watched of all-time, eclipsing the record previously held by Michael Jackson. While many people online are still debating and analyzing the rapper’s performance, our staff is thinking ahead to who should take center stage at the halftime of next year’s big game.

I would like to see John Legend perform at a future Super Bowl. I think he would collaborate well with Billie Eilish. They both have beautiful voices and I would love to see them perform together. I actually did really like this past year’s halftime show. It was entertaining and kept me captivated. I look forward to seeing who will perform next year.

I think for next years Super Bowl they should do Kid Cudi. Although he is not as big as the previous singers, I think his following is big enough to where people will still know who he is. He also has a couple of popular songs that people can recognize when listening to them. His songs are also very good for all age groups, so I think everyone at the Super Bowl and everyone watching would be happy with the performance. His songs also tell stories within them so that can really help with the performance in general and what the set looks like. He has also worked with many different popular artists like Travis Scott, which leaves room for guest appearances like Kendrick Lamar did with SZA at his performance.
