It’s March Madness! This week the staff wrote about whether they’re filling out a bracket this year or not.

I filled out my March Madness brackets for this year’s tournament. I filled one out for the men’s and women’s teams. I decided to do it again this year because it’s an unspoken competition between my brother and I. We both try to get the most accurate bracket we can. I used to know nothing about college basketball, and I found that I did better with my brackets compared to now when I do know more information. Every year my brother and I do equally as bad.

I will most likely fill out a March Madness bracket this year because it makes the games more exciting. I think it’s fun to predict which teams will win, even if my guesses aren’t always correct. Watching the games feels more interesting when I have a bracket to follow. It also gives me a chance to compete with my friends to see who does the best. And when I do it with my friends, we always like to do a punishment or prize.
