Jordan Covatto is a senior at Cathedral Prep who devotes his time on and off the football field. He’s intelligent and smart. He has received numerous honor cards throughout his years at Cathedral Prep. Jordan recently committed to attend Gannon University on scholarship where he will major in Business Administration and minor in Finance.
Jordan said he’s thankful to receive a scholarship from a prestigious school like Gannon University. He also said that it pays to work hard because eventually great things will happen to and for you. Most importantly, he stressed the importance of staying focused.
Out of all the things he does Jordan’s favorite thing to do is working out and staying in shape. Jordan works out every day to prepare for football when he goes off to college. “People underestimate me for my height, but when I’m eye to eye with my opponent, I win,” he said.
Jordan has two brothers who also played football for Cathedral Prep. There are many things Jordan likes to do on in his spare time. Some of the things he likes to do include hanging out with friends and spending time with his family.
At the beginning of football season, Jordan received troubling news that his mother had stage four bone cancer. With that news he stated, he just wanted to give up, but his mom reminded him to keep fighting for her, and he promised he would. He added, “I want to thank everyone at Cathedral Prep for praying for my family, and for showing us their love, kindness and generosity. I truly love you guys.”
