Today is Mother’s Day, so our staff wanted to use this week’s question as an opportunity to reflect on what they love about their mom.
There are a multitude of things that I’m grateful for my mom about. I’ve always told everyone about how she’s helped push me into thinking for myself and how to control my emotions. I’ve seen myself getting better in that aspect. All the other times that she’s looked out for me, and provided me with things that many people don’t have. She’s worked tirelessly to put a roof over my head and food on the table, and I can never repay her for that.
I am very grateful for my mother’s strength. Even on her hard days, she finds a way to pull herself together and make sure that I have everything that I need. She always puts herself above others, and I admire her for that. She taught me that selflessness is the most important thing, and helping someone is always more important than hoping for something in return. I wish I was more like her.
I am so very thankful for my mom and what she does for me. She is always able to help cheer me up in stressful times and is able to help figure things out. She is so nice to everyone she meets. In all I am so thankful for all she does for me every day because she always looks out for me and my family. I love and appreciate my mom.
I am grateful for my mom because she motivates me to stand up for myself and my values. She is very independent and relies on nobody. I feel like this is the most efficient and non-disappointing lifestyle. She’s also a fashion icon; she wears the cutest clothes, I swear.
My mom is my best friend. I appreciate the way she has raised me and the strong morals she has rooted in me. She always has supported everything I do and helped me when I am in need of guidance. For Mother’s Day, I got her a coffee-scented candle, and I will be getting her chocolate-covered raspberries, her favorite chocolate-covered fruit. I am so appreciative and grateful of her and will be forever.
There are so many things to appreciate my mother for. She always helps me with money when I need it, and she’s always there to guide me. I am most grateful for how she treats me. She always puts my needs before hers and always makes sure that I am doing OK in life. I can’t put into words how much I truly love my mom. This Mother’s Day will be special.
I’m grateful for my mother every day. I get reminded every day, too, since every time I come home she’s getting dinner ready or going out of her way to do something for me. She’s constantly looking out for me and my siblings and just making sure we’re okay. I’m especially grateful for the time and effort she’s put into sports for me. Every day for years was a practice or a game, and she never complained about having to take me or go watch. She’s been the most supportive person in my life so far, and I don’t think she ever won’t be.
I am grateful for my mom for always believing me and helping me through hard times. Even when I don’t want anyone talking to me, my mom is the only person that can calm me down. My mom is hard on me when I need it and soft and loving during hard times. I am also grateful for my mom because she sacrifices a lot just to provide for my sister and I.
