What are your plans for the summer?

As we close out the 2021-22 school year, our staff was excited to look forward to the summer. Read about their plans below.

Colin Bish

I have a lot of big things coming up for this summer. I know for a fact that I’ll be going on vacation for a week in July, and a couple days after I’ll be having my orientation at St. Bonaventure University. I plan to get a lot more active. Whether that is at the gym or outside, there is a lot of opportunities for that. I want to get out of my comfort zone once in a while to hang out with friends before we all split off for college, some that I may never see again. I’ve also talked with my dad about going to baseball games, such as a Erie SeaWolves game and a game in August between my favorite team, the Red Sox, and the Pirates in Pittsburgh. I’m going to be busy and I’m definitely going to have a lot of fun with that as well.

Olivia Buckel

My plans for this summer are to relax and enjoy my family vacation. We plan to go to the West Coast at the end of July and see Disneyland, and I am very much looking forward to it. I have never been that far away or on that side of the country, so I am very excited. I also plan to attend a Shawn Mendes concert in July and go on a couple of college visits. I am looking forward to an amazing summer.

Cole Corapi

My plans for this summer are going to be real nice. I’m going to go on family vacation to Myrtle Beach which will be really nice since I haven’t been down there in a while. I will also get a good, well paying summer job so I can get some money. I haven’t had a job for a while, but I think having one in the summer would be great, especially as I go into college. Other than vacation and getting a job, I will be outside all the time enjoying the heat and getting a nice tan on.

Maddie Hess

I really just want to relax and have a lot of fun this summer before I leave for college. I also plan to work a lot to save up a lot of money, so I don’t have to work during college. I really want to spend as much time as I can with the people around me and appreciate the time I have left in Erie. I love my friends and family and I’m going to miss them so much when I’m 6 hours away at UK!

Jack Rouch

My plans over the summer are to have fun with my family and friends and work a lot. I plan on working a lot in the summer to save up some money for college. I plan on going to a lot of graduation parties this summer and trying to have the best summer possible before college.
