I still remember Adventure Time with fondness. Regular Show would have to be a close second. Recently, I started rewatching some Adventure Time with the rest of my family since my little sister enjoys it. I now recognize a lot of the little details and reoccurrences that I did not see as a kid, and the show can actually get pretty convoluted for a program meant to entertain kids. Even now, it definitely still holds up as my favorite. It has a wacky sense of humor, the cast is endearing, and it is just overall a crazy cartoon. I never watched the show all the way up to the finale as a kid, so hopefully we get to that at some point. The belief that another show could dare to reach the peaks of cinema that Adventure Time has is simply…unacceptable.

My favorite cartoon to watch while I was growing up was SpongeBob SquarePants. Although I really loved this show, I heard that many parents wouldn’t let their kids watch it because of the nonsensical humor. I think that this was the charm of it, though. Even watching it while you’re older, there are many episodes which will make you laugh with its outrageousness.

My favorite childhood TV show was probably Good Luck Charlie, but I also really liked pretty much any classic TV show like Shake it Up, Ant Farm, and Jesse. However, I think looking back now, my favorite TV shows were actually pretty much anything on Disney XD like Lab Rats and Kickin’ It. All of these shows were pretty similar and I think I enjoyed the classic Disney shows to watch casually, but I was more or a fan of Disney XD and would watch the episodes as soon as they came out. I also dabbled a bit on Cartoon Network with Teen Titans and Nickelodeon with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

My favorite TV show as a child was the Wiggles. My mom tells me that she would play this show on repeat for me to enjoy and sing along with. I remember to this day that my favorite song was “Fruit Salad, yummy yummy”. I would sing this song word for word while dancing along with my siblings. The memories I have made from this show alone is amazing. I am a 17-year-old kid who still remembers his favorite song from his childhood show. The Wiggles have shaped me as an upbeat, fun-loving person, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Alicia Gonzalez
My favorite childhood TV show was Max and Ruby. I watched this show religiously, and I was curious about the sibling rivalry because up until I was 8 years old I was an only child. My dog’s name is Max as well, and I would watch it with him on weekends. I loved the cute animation of the characters and the plot which usually involved Ruby teaching Max a life lesson. It was goofy and didn’t scare me as much as other shows geared towards older kids did. The non-threatening nature of bunnies was also what drew me to the show. The theme song was catchy and it got me excited to watch each episode.
If I had to choose my favorite TV show as a child, it would definitely have to go to SpongeBob hands down. SpongeBob is an all-time classic that has a great comedic sense for the children who watch it, and even for adults later on in their life. As a show that continues to be on television for years on end, it’s hard to say that say it is not one of the greatest childhood shows ever to be put on television. It always brought great joy to me as a child, watching it for many hours on the day. SpongeBob will be and always be a great show for me as a child and an adult today.

My favorite TV show growing up as a kid was Big Time Rush. Even as a kid the idea of getting to live in California with your four best friends seemed like an amazing experience and this show touched on that. I also thought, at the time, that it was hilarious especially the character of Gustavo. My favorite in the show was Kendall as he was the lead singer and ran the show with his friends. Overall, I enjoyed the show when I was younger due to its comedic nature and interesting storyline.

My favorite show as a kid was SpongeBob. I’m not really sure why I enjoyed it so much because it was a long time ago but it was always my favorite. I remember when I was really young my parents didn’t want me watching it so maybe that why I like it however as I got a little older they were fine with me watching it. I also remember waking up early on Saturday mornings because I knew it was going to be on.

My favorite childhood TV show was Hannah Montana by far. When I was younger I was obsessed with Hannah Montana. A day did not go by that I didn’t watch Hannah Montana. I also grew up as the show grew up and still watch it once in a while now.

My favorite childhood cartoon was the original Teen Titans cartoon on Cartoon Network. The show was so cool to me as a child and, honestly, it is still good now. The characters were engaging, the plot was entertaining, and the animation style was captivating. The theme song was fantastic as well. It was full of emotion and built on itself over the seasons, growing and becoming more mature. Teen Titans helped shape my childhood and the things I still enjoy to this day.
Dominick Scarpino
My favorite childhood TV show was Gravity Falls. This show is still one of my top 5 shows to this day. It has amazing characters, good storylines, and brilliant animation. I am still sad that there are only two seasons of it. I think that I have probably watched that showed 50 times and I’m still not tired of it. I don’t think that this show will ever fall out of my top five shows.
