What are you thankful for?

Thanksgiving is one week away, so our staff paused to reflect on who or what they are thankful for this year.

Kwame Anim-Somuah

I am extremely thankful for my friends and family as well as my soccer teammates. There’s never a dull day with my friends, especially during the school day or even outside school. All the memories we have created will last with me forever. My family is always in my corner and very supportive in anything I do. They offer great advice, keeping me in check and just always showing me love. I’m thankful for my soccer team because of the great times we have had on and off the field this year.

Lindsay Armanini

I am thankful for the people in my life, what they have provided me, and what I have learned from them. I am blessed to have an amazing family who has made sacrifices to provide for me and who has loved me for who I am. I appreciate my friends, whose endless support and positivity has made me a better person. I recognize my teachers, coaches, and all those who have helped me succeed along the way. I have learned from these individuals how to be the best person I can be and to give to others like they have to me.

Tyler Chermack

I would say that I am thankful for my parents because they do so much for me with school and in my soccer career. I am thankful to have such caring and supportive parents. They have pushed me to be the best and to do the best to have a good future. My parents are my heroes, and I am so thankful to have such good parents in my life. They love me so much, and that’s all I can ask for. They do everything for my brother, my sister, and me so that we are in the best position to succeed in this life.

Josie Dufala

I am thankful for all of the blessings I have been given this past year. I have earned many achievements academically, athletically, and personally that I could not have done without the amazing support system I have. My family supports me in everything I do, and they guide me towards success. My friends are there for me whenever I need them. My loved ones have shaped me into the person I am, and I’m very thankful for that.

Lauren Middleton

I am thankful for my faith and the foundation it has provided me with. During even my early days my family encouraged me to follow God and his path for me. The faith that I have in my soul helps me in even my most sorrowful days. Standing in the firm foundation God has for me allows me to overflow in His everlasting love. I am thankful for my faith, for it helps me in my day-to-day activities.

John Santone

I am thankful for my family. They have given me more than I deserve and helped through every struggle. I am thankful for my friends. They put up with and accept me and know me better than anyone else. I am thankful for Prep. The opportunities I’ve found here are better than anything I could have gotten somewhere else. Some of the teachers and students are among my favorite people I know.

I am thankful for all of my family and friends. I know it is a pretty generic response, but for me it is very true. I do not know if I would be where I am today if it was not for the support of my family. I owe a lot to them. My friends have also helped be my base for my social life, which has allowed me to flourish as a person. I am so grateful for everyone in my life. I don’t know what I would do without them.
