Sophomore Lincoln Laquidara has been an active student in the Prep community, involved in activities like theater, student council, and campus ministry. Recently, he’s been working on preparations for upcoming productions and events with the theater group, while continuing to make a difference through student council, including getting more dress-down days approved for students last year.
Lincoln chose Cathedral Prep because he wanted to grow in his faith and get ready for college, especially since some of his friends already attended. While reflecting on his time at Prep, he’s proud of his grades from last year as well as his accomplishments in both theater and student council. And with all this he’s been able to show dedication and commitment and making the most of his time at Prep.
“[Lincoln] has such a positive attitude,” sophomore Leighton Leeds said. “He’s always there for the team”
Support from others has played a big role in his journey. Lincoln credits his dad, a few friends, and some teachers for being his go to people.
“They’re helpful and they give me great advice,” Lincoln said.
For his sophomore year at Prep, Lincoln has a few goals in mind, including growing in his faith, being kind to everyone, and working his hardest to get good grades. He’s also excited about some trips that are soon to take place, like trips to Cedar Point, Florida, and even India. As a sophomore, Lincoln was happy to move past freshman year and be able take on new challenges at Prep.
Balancing school and activities can be a lot for a student, but Lincoln has managed by staying on task in class and getting work done whenever he has time during the day, helping him make sure to finish assignments on time.
For any 8th graders considering Cathedral Prep, Lincoln has some advice.
“It’s a good school,” Lincoln said. “Any interested 8th grader should come.”
With plenty of opportunities to grow, it’s clear that Lincoln is making the most of his time at Prep.
