Christmas is 12 days away, and The Rambler staff is in the Christmas spirit. This week they wrote about their favorite Christmas movie.

My favorite Christmas movie is the classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. This movie brings me back so many memories of my childhood Christmas experiences. I used to watch Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at home with my dad on Christmas Eve. It’s a nostalgic experience that makes me feel excited for Christmas. Rudolph might be an older Christmas movie, but it is my favorite because of the memories I’ve made watching it.

The Polar Express has always been my go-to watch when it comes to Christmas movies. It’s a timeless movie that I can always remember watching in elementary school before Christmas break while eating sugar cookies and drinking hot chocolate. And I think the reason why I still like watching it is because now that I’m older I can understand the meaning behind it. Like how the train was meant to restore his belief in Santa. Or how the hobo represents doubt in Santa Clause. In general, I just think it’s a movie that most people will look back on and not remember it being a bad watch. And I honestly just don’t think people really try to make Christmas movies as good as The Polar Express anymore. So it will always be my favorite.
