NFL free agency period gets off to an active start

NFL+free+agency+period+gets+off+to+an+active+start

NFL free agency started last Tuesday, March 10. There are a lot of free agents who teams want to re-sign, and a lot of free agents who are heavily drawing interest from other teams. There have been a lot of good and bad trades made, and a lot of trades that people never expected. One such trade was star tight end Jimmy Graham going to the Seattle Seahawks from the New Orleans Saints. The Seahawks seem to be trying to position themselves for another Super Bowl appearance, which would make it three Super Bowl appearances in a row.
One of the top free agents was running back DeMarco Murray from the Dallas Cowboys, who signed to play with one of Dallas’ main rivals in the NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles. Also, wide receiver Andre Johnson from the Houston Texas, who is big and physical, landed in Indianapolis. He will join great quarterback Andrew Luck who is going to need a wideout like Johnson.
Another big name in the free agency is Dez Bryant who play for the Cowboys and broke records last season. He is staying in Dallas after they put the franchise tag on him.
On the defensive end, cornerback Darrelle Revis, who played last season in New England and won a Super Bowl, is going back to the New York Jets to try to get them a ring. Also, the big and dirty playing defensive linemen Ndamukong Suh, who played for the Lions his whole career, will now play for the Miami Dolphins.
Former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Bryon Maxwell will now be in a Eagle uniform on game day. And also Vince Wilfork who played on the New England Patriots and won a Super Bowl last year remains as a free agent. He doesn’t have as many teams interested in him as people thought he would. There are many other players who are free agents, but the start of free agency has been very interesting as many teams will look very different to begin the 2015 season.
