What is your favorite video game of all-time?

What+is+your+favorite+video+game+of+all-time%3F

If you are quarantined at home, one fun way to pass the time is to play video games. With that in mind, this week The Rambler staff answered the question “What is your favorite video game of all-time?” Read their choices and explanations below. Then share your answers in the comments section below.

Nick Cacchione

Mario Kart
My favorite video game of all-time would have to be Mario Kart. I do not really play many video games, but when I was younger, my siblings and I would play Mario Kart for the Nintendo Game Cube or Wii. This game would get very competitive and would be really fun. Mario Kart is also now available on the App Store, and I have been playing the game a lot during my free time while in this quarantine.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
My favorite video game of all-time is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. I played this game religiously when I was in middle school because I had more time on my hands than I do now in high school. I was top 4,000 in the world out of the 7 million people that played the game. I always worked to get my ranking higher, even getting up at 6 a.m. before school to play. This was all before sleep and homework became necessary in my life, but those days were my favorite when I got to play my favorite video game of all-time.

Blitz: The League
My favorite video game of all-time is called Blitz: The League. It was a football game that was very graphic in the way you made tackles. I liked this game so much because I would always create a character to use for a season or two. This game also had a very interesting story behind it where you end up going to jail and have to prove your innocence. You also play a football game while in jail, and that part is pretty fun.

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
My favorite video game of all-time is LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. I have completed this game so many times throughout my childhood. It was so cool to see the LEGO sets I played with being brought to the artificial intelligence life.

Call of Duty: Black Ops
My favorite video game of all-time is Call of Duty: Black Ops. The original Black Ops had a great campaign, multiplayer gameplay that was ahead of its time, and a zombies mode that was so much fun. In grade school, playing zombies until super late at night with a few of my friends was probably my favorite thing to do. We would always try to make it to round 100 or some crazy number like that and play for hours on end. I like a lot of other video games as well, but this one was definitely the most fun to play during its time.

Persona 4 Golden
My favorite video game of all-time probably has to be Persona 4 Golden. I stumbled upon a trailer for it one night, and I was immediately hooked on what it was. I watched everything I could about the series, and I loved all of it. While it is no longer my personal favorite game within the series, I cannot deny how influential it was for me and turning me into a fan. I love everything about it: the setting, the story, the characters (one of which is my favorite video game character of all-time), and the music all mixes it together beautifully. It presents an amazing cast of characters, and the process of learning more about them feels rewarding. The combat is addictive, and the ability to collect hundreds of personas is what makes the game a must play, and my favorite game of all-time.
