Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande call off wedding

Pete+Davidson+and+Ariana+Grande+call+off+wedding

Earlier this week, recently engaged celebrity couple Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande decided to call off their wedding. This whirlwind relationship seems to have ended as quickly as it took off. Grande and Davidson had only been together for a about month before they became engaged, and in total, the relationship only lasted five months. The general consensus toward the entire situation was that it was too much too soon, as both are young and very busy with their work. Davidson is a cast member on Saturday Night Live and Grande’s extremely successful music career has elevated her to become one of the most recognizable faces in pop culture.
It is also believe that Grande has been struggling with the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller. She canceled multiple shows in order to try to recover from this tragic event, and she didn’t seem to be able focus on her relationship with Davidson. Davidson did his best to support the singer, but this event may have been the final straw in the breakup between the two. Grande has already returned the $93,000 engagement ring to Davidson, but she plans on keeping their recently adopted teacup pig, Piggy Smallz.
On Wednesday, Grande announced in an Instagram post that she planned to take a break from the internet in order to avoid seeing any more news, while also thanking her fans for their continued support. Davidson has remained fairly quiet since the breakup and recently canceled his scheduled appearance at Temple University for “Comedy Night Live.” Although this is a tough break up for both Davidson and Grande, the two to have ended on relatively decent terms and plan to continue to spend time together in the future.
