Cathedral Prep students from the National Honors Society and the Student Council held a Fall Festival at Mother Teresa Academy on Friday, Oct. 28.

From 1-3 p.m. students from all grades at Mother Teresa Academy were able to move through 13 different stations. The stations included face painting, mummy races, corn hole and many more fun activities. Students also used coloring supplies to make dinner placemats. These placemats will go to a Christmas dinner for military veterans in the community.

The festival was the product of planning headed by Mr. Baltzer and Ms. Mackensen from Prep as well as Prep students in the National Honors Society and Student Council working together.

Festivals like this are just one way that Cathedral Prep is able to help the community and interact with its elementary school counterpart.

Student Council is also planning a Christmas Festival that will be some time in December.

These festivals are key in celebrating the holidays as a community, not only with Prep, but with MTA as well.

“Fall Fest,” Mr. Baltzer said, “is an opportunity to bring together both campuses to have a good time.”
