This week the staff wrote about what skills they would like to learn.
Tamara Bell
If I could swap jobs with anyone for a week, I would choose Drew Binsky because he travels all over the world and meets people from various cultures. It would be amazing to experience what his travel life is like instead of just watching it online. I would travel to new countries, film short videos, and post them on social media. I would have to follow his schedule, visit popular spots, and talk to locals to learn more about each place. It might be stressful trying to keep up with constant travel and content creation, but it would be exciting, too. Also, it would help me become more confident and better at communicating with different kinds of people. In the end, it would be a wonderful, unforgettable experience that would give me a new perspective on the world.

I would swap jobs with my brother. My brother works as a coordinator at Wegmans. I always wondered what it would be like to be a coordinator, so having the opportunity to do so would be interesting. Not only would I be out of the house, I would also be able to work on certain skills (such as communication and time management). Being a coordinator also seems like it would pass the time due to how involved it is, which is convenient given how certain days can drag if there are not many customers.

I would swap jobs with any one that works at Glacier National Park. My goal is to visit all or at least a few of the national parks in the world, and I think that would be the best way to do it, or at least one of them. Also, it’s just cool that they get to see those animals all day and drive around the coolest places in the United States.

I would swap with a professional golfer. I’d get to know what it’s like to be rich for a week and play golf at the nicest places for the week. I could use my connections to play at all the really expensive or exclusive golf courses I wouldn’t be able to go myself. My entire life for a week would just be golf which in general just sounds nice. And I could meet all the other professional golfers and get to talk to them. I could also like buy myself a bunch of cool stuff for when I swap back, like golf clubs or a membership at a golf club. I think the one downside of the swap would be being on television.
