The final Question of the Week of the 2025-26 school year asked the staff about their favorite part of the school year.
Tamara Bell
One of my favorite parts of this school year was being able to write about whatever I wanted [in Journalism]. I enjoyed having the freedom to express my opinions and be creative instead of having to follow strict, pre-determined guidelines. Another thing I enjoyed was getting to know more people at Prep and building friendships with students I would not have talked to otherwise. Additionally, the class environment was fun and welcoming, and everyone brought their own personality to it. Lastly, one reason the year was so entertaining was all the out-of-pocket comments that came out of Nick’s and Zach’s mouths during class. Even when school was stressful, those moments always made me laugh and made the year a lot more memorable.

The beginning of the school year was my favorite. It offered me time to consider the last three years of high school, what they meant, and how they would contribute to senior year. This comparison made me realize the limited time I had, which forced me to consider how I would manage that time. This thought process eventually made me consider what dreams and goals I would pursue afterward, which prompted me to create a balance between academics and self-care to ensure that these aspects of my life were nurtured and developed.

I would say the NAHS field trip. It was a fun new experience. I got to look at some really incredible art and hang out with friends as well. We got to also walk around a part of Pittsburgh I’ve never been to. I had some experiences I’ve never had before and we went to a lot of local shops.

My favorite part of the year has been my senior Science Seminar class during the 1st and 2nd quarter. It was a small class of like eight people, and it was all the seniors who were still in MedPath. But the size of the class was what made it fun. We all got to joke around and do fun projects basically the entire semester. We also helped each other with college and connections to help with our future medical careers. The class really helped when it came to getting into Rad Science at Gannon. It was the most fun I’ve had in a class this year.
