CSP Teacher Mr. McBride garnered almost 1,000,000 total views on his YouTube channel Live from the Pleiades: Jaxx Tragix.
“There was exceptional growth with over 800,000 [total] views and over 7,000 subscribers in a 90-day period,” Mr. McBride said.
Mr. McBride began uploading A.I. generated music in early September 2024, “Like Ta,” “Like Ta (Dance),” and “At Least Say Why” being the three most popular of the original six uploads.
”I wrote the lyrics and used a music generator to create the composition,” Mr. McBride said.
Around late February 2026, Mr. McBride began uploading “live” studio sessions featuring three characters, including one with two versions with his likeness.
”I was making these videos for family and thought they would resonate with them more if it was me singing the song or telling the joke,” Mr. McBride said.

Alongside these “live” studio sessions, Mr. McBride uploaded music videos, “Like Ta,” with the assistance of promotion, being the most successful.
“Female viewers gravitated toward the character in ‘Like Ta’ the most,” Mr. McBride said.
In mid-March, Mr. McBride uploaded the first episode of Jack Stands Up, which became a staple series for the channel.
“[Because Jack Stands Up contributed majorly to channel growth], uniform posting of episodes became necessary,” Mr. McBride wrote.
The channel eventually shifted focus from music-related content to comedy-related content, Mr. McBride later uploading a teaser for the audio book series Grand Amplitude Thoreau, which follows college student Gideon River’s journey to self-realization and self-actualization.
“[The philosophical teachings within Grand Amplitude Thoreau are inspired by The Prophet,” Mr. McBride said.
The main demographics for the most popular content/series on the channel (“Like Ta,” “Criminal Dog,” Jack Stands Up, JT Elixir, and Grand Amplitude Thoreau) are as follows:
- Males 18-35
- “Criminal Dog”
- JT Elixir
- Males 45+:
- Jack Stands Up
- Females 18-35:
- “Like Ta”
- JT Elixir
- Females 45+:

A combination of all demographics had interest in Grand Amplitude Thoreau.
“[Knowing] the main demographics of the channel is very key because they always shift dramatically depending on [the] content,” Mr. McBride wrote.
After the conclusion of Grand Amplitude Thoreau in late April, Mr. McBride returned to uploading episodes of Jack Stands Up alongside general comedy-related content, as well as music-related content featuring less popular songs from the original six uploads, such as “Criminal Dog,”and newer songs, such as “The King Maker.”
“I saw how successful the Criminal Dog character was and told Mr. McBride he should start making content with him,” junior Ryan Noonan said.
In early May, Mr. McBride uploaded the first Criminal Dog video featuring the animal counterpart of the human character. This character was eventually featured in “viral checks” that urged viewers to like the video and subscribe to the channel to help it achieve virality.
”The Criminal Dog videos were very successful,” Mr. McBride said.

After the success of the “viral checks,” Mr. McBride began uploading a combination of comedy-related content, music-related content, and find the object-related content to garner more views efficiently.
- Music-related content featured remixed versions of old songs, such as “Like Ta,” and newer songs, such as “Cattle Call.”
- Comedy-related content featured Jack Stands Up, Woody Jaxx, and other comedians, such as Jimmy Fantastic.
- Find the object related-content featured edited clips with eye-catching objects, such as creatures and animals.

- “NEW Lavender Lemonade, made with Jason Momoa and Blake Halvorson #MeiliVodka📍Rock & Brews locations” was the second most frequently edited clip, featuring multiple animals, notably the Tragix versions, and other animals, such as a cat and a tiger.
”When the video has A.I. generated animals instead of A.I. generated people, it is more positively received,” Mr. McBride said.

As of mid-May, Mr. McBride uploads find the object-related content (which has not been utilized as frequently as it was in early May, with the exception of the most frequently edited clip) comedy-related content, and music-related content.

”I’m hoping to reach 1,000,000 total views by the end of the school year,” Mr. McBride said. “I’d rather brag about that than 1,000,000 subscribers.”
