Thanksgiving break does not technically start for over a week, but that did not stop The Rambler staff from looking ahead to what they plan to do on their heavily anticipated break.

My plans for Thanksgiving break are to relax, enjoy time with family, and self-reflect. Since Thanksgiving break will be a week long, I want to take that time to relax and enjoy some quiet time. During Thanksgiving, I want to be able to spend more time with my family since I do not get to spend much time with them throughout the week since we all have different schedules. Finally, I want to take Thanksgiving break to reflect on how I have been and be honest with myself about what I need to do differently. Also, I want to take that time to decide what I should be more grateful for and what I should prioritize.

I have many vacationing plans for Thanksgiving break. I am going to Florida to visit my brother who is doing an internship. His internship is in Disney, and he has fast passes, so I’m going to be able to go around and do a lot of the rides and stuff. After Florida, we come home for Thanksgiving with family. After that, we are going skiing out in Vermont because we are dropping my other brother off at school up there. So overall it’s just going to be a very fun Thanksgiving break.

My plans for Thanksgiving break are to potentially go down to see my family in North Carolina. If we don’t, we will stay at home and go to my older sister’s house and watch the parade. I plan to play games with my younger cousins and play with the pets a lot. If we do stay in town, we might go to Panama Rocks and hike.

Usually I go down to the South Carolina for Thanksgiving, but this year I’m spending Thanksgiving break in Erie. We’re going to have some family over and have Thanksgiving dinner and play some games and watch football. I also like to do Black Friday during Thanksgiving break. I like to save money, so if I’m able to get a good deal on something I’ve been wanting for a while I’ll definitely take it. This year specifically I’ve been trying to learn how to bake some stuff, and this Thanksgiving I want to make blondies for everyone, which is cookie dough baked in a brownie pan.

I have family coming over for Thanksgiving break. My cousins and I usually get to go out ad have fun the evening they arrive in Erie. The next day, though, my mother usually puts us all to work doing something. I end up helping with the cooking most of the time. The day after Thanksgiving we set up the Christmas tree and put up the Christmas decorations.
