Christmas is right around the corner. This week our staff wrote about what they want for Christmas.

I have no particular item that I would like for Christmas. What I would like for Christmas this year, though, is to spend time with my family. Since the year itself consists of busy schedules and deadlines, there is little time (if any at all) to do anything with them. So, I look forward to being able to sit down with them and enjoy some quality time for once without having reminders of deadlines and assignments in the back of my head.

This Christmas I would really like to have a new hockey stick. My old stick got worn down last season and is pretty beat up. Hockey sticks now a days are pretty expensive but if I only had one thing to wish for Christmas it would be this. Additionally, I would really want to see my family this year. I have a lot of brothers and sisters. I’m the youngest of them all and only a few stayed in Erie and live all across the USA. So, if I had too choose two things for Christmas it would be receiving a new hockey stick and seeing my family all together for the holidays.

One of the main things I want for Christmas is cologne. I just recently got into cologne, so I asked for a bunch. Hopefully by the end of the year I’ll have a nice collection. And I’ll get to smell good, too. Some other things I want for Christmas are a mirror, watermelon gum, a new pair of shoes, and of course clothes. I don’t think my wish list was big this year, just a couple of things I’ve wanted throughout the year that I didn’t want to spend my own money on.

For Christmas this year I would like some new books. I usually get 6 or 7 new books every year at Christmas. I love reading and I always look forward to seeing what titles my parents, brothers, and friends have picked out for me.
