Christmas is less than a week away. This week our staff wrote about the best gift they have ever received for Christmas.

Over Christmas break, I spent time with my family, ordered a few gifts for friends and family, and enjoyed some time to myself. For the entire two weeks I was off, my dad had time off from both his school and city job, which allowed him to spend time with me, my sister, and my mother. For Christmas, my family and I celebrated at my grandparents’ house. During the busy break, I had to order a few gifts for a few friends and a few members of my family because I did not time have time to do so before Christmas break. When I had some free time, I listened to some music and did some baking.

What I did over Christmas break was a lot of sleeping, but I did have a ton of hockey games, too. We spent a weekend in Pittsburgh, and then we played in Buffalo a few days later. When I wasn’t playing hockey, I was either hanging out with my friends or sleeping at home. I was sick for a majority of break, so I needed to rest a lot. Other than these, my sister just got back from college, so we hung out with her.

The main thing I did over Christmas break was visit my family in South Carolina. We all got together and had a Christmas Eve party, which was super fun. And then Christmas morning we all got to open our presents, and I got a bunch of great stuff like cologne and new shoes. I also got to play some golf with my friends while I was down there since the weather was so nice. I also got to see the new Avatar movie with my friends as well. The rest of my break mainly consisted of just relaxing and sleeping in all the time.

Over Christmas break I got to visit my uncles, aunt, cousins, and grandparents. They live in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, about 2.5 hours away. We spent Christmas Eve, Christmas, and the morning of the 26th with them. I even got to see some close family friends like the Lunas.
