What is your favorite Halloween movie?

Question of the Week is a segment in which the entire staff of The Rambler weighs in with their opinion on a question of interest. This week, with Halloween on the horizon, students were asked, “What is your favorite Halloween movie?”

My favorite Halloween movie would have to be It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. There is nothing better than being in school in the last week of October and seeing your teacher roll in the TV cart, just to see an instant classic being displayed. Eating candy with you friends and watching Charlie Brown and Snoopy running around the pumpkin patch will always be a nostalgic childhood experience for me. All the suspense, drama, and excitement of the film, make for a great story that all ages can enjoy.

My favorite Halloween movie is It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. It is a classic that I have enjoyed since I can remember, and it always puts me in the mood for the season. I love the joyful music, clever jokes, and sense of nostalgia it offers. Watching it takes me back to the past when I used to dress up for Halloween and go trick-or-treating with my friends. I usually watch this movie every week during the fall season because I love it so much!

What is my favorite Halloween movie? That’s a good question. I think The Nightmare Before Christmas is the best Halloween/Christmas movie. I always watch the The Nightmare Before Christmas when I was a kid, and I haven’t stopped. Every Halloween and Christmas my family and I watch the movie at least once or twice. There are plenty of Halloween movies out there, but The Nightmare Before Christmas is an all-time great. It’s a classic, and it’s a good movie to watch with the family.

My favorite Halloween movie is The Nightmare Before Christmas. Although arguably a dual-Halloween/Christmas movie, the movie is filled to the brim with Halloween nostalgia. I first watched this movie as a kid, and I love the movie’s music, storyline, and characters. I also love Tim Burton’s creativeness and the magic he creates in his movies. I love watching this movie during Halloweentime, and will continue to watch it through Christmastime.

Twilight is my favorite Halloween movie because I love seeing how a vampire can fall in love with a human. The movie follows a 17-year-old girl named Bella who just moved back in town to live with her dad. The town is named Forks, Washington, and this is where Bella will be spending her next school year. She has a few classes with Edward Cullen, who is a vampire and he becomes very interested in Bella very quickly. He feels compelled to get to know her for she is the only human he has ever encountered that he could not read their mind. They get to know each other and become very found with one another and he introduces her to his family that are also vampires, and they end up adoring Bell. In the end of the movie, Bella and Edward go to the school prom as each other’s dates, and Bella asks Edward to turn her into a vampire so she can be with him forever and not be without him, but he kisses her forehead instead of answering.

When it’s getting close to Halloween, I have a few different movies I’d consider some of my favorites, but there’s not a specific one. I haven’t done it in years, but Halloween as a kid meant watching Peanuts movies or Scooby Doo. Those are my favorite Halloween movies. It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is a classic, and it’s nearly impossible to go through the holiday without my family or myself quoting it. My childhood memories of Halloween also include being terrified while watching Scooby-Doo: Zombie Island with my siblings, and that’s what Halloween is about for me.

My favorite Halloween movie is Hocus Pocus. I make a point to watch the movie at least once every October. It was always my favorite thing to watch during the fall, and I have many fond memories doing so. I find it odd that people think the movie is not that good. I think it’s a great movie with lots of simple and easy-going humor.
